REPONS is a business-to-business procurement company. The information handled through this website is business information: who is asking, on behalf of which company, for what goods, to which destination.
What is collected
- Enquiry and RFQ forms: contact name, job title, company, business email, telephone, country, destination, and the requirement itself including any documents attached.
- Supplier registration: company details, contact details, categories, products, certificates and documents attached.
- Technical data needed to run the site and to understand how buyers arrive: page requested, referring source and campaign parameters where present.
Why it is used
- To respond to the enquiry, source it and quote it.
- To contact the enquirer about that requirement and related procurement matters.
- To assess a supplier's suitability for buyer requirements.
- To keep an accurate commercial record of quotations, orders and correspondence.
Who it is shared with
Requirement details are shared with prospective suppliers only to the extent needed to obtain an offer, and without the buyer's identity, budget or target price. Data is also processed by the service providers that host the website, database, document storage and email used to operate it. It is not sold, rented or used for unrelated marketing lists.
How long it is kept
Enquiries, quotations and orders are kept as commercial records for as long as the relationship and applicable record-keeping obligations require. A buyer may request deletion of their submitted documents once a requirement is closed.
Your requests
Write to the procurement desk to ask what is held about you, to correct it, to have documents deleted, or to stop being contacted. A request to stop being contacted is honoured and recorded so it is not overridden later.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Where a visit arrives with campaign parameters in the link, those parameters are stored with the enquiry so REPONS knows which channel produced it.
