Generator procurement specified at site conditions, not catalogue conditions
REPONS sources diesel and gas generating sets for standby, prime and continuous duty, together with synchronising and changeover panels, fuel systems, containerised and canopied enclosures, cabling and first-service spares. Output is confirmed at site altitude and ambient temperature rather than at catalogue reference conditions, and the engine, alternator and controller brands are stated in every offer so sets can be compared honestly.
Duty and derating check
Standby, prime or continuous duty is confirmed with the buyer, then output is checked against site altitude, temperature and load factor before offers are compared.
Component transparency
Engine, alternator and control system brands are named in each offer. Two sets with the same kVA figure are rarely the same machine.
System scope, not just the set
Changeover and synchronising panels, fuel tanks and transfer systems, exhaust, cabling, earthing and remote monitoring are quoted as part of the scope where required.
Commissioning and spares readiness
Test certificates, commissioning documentation and the first maintenance kit are ordered with the set rather than chased afterwards.
