Density is the variable most often left out of MDF enquiries and the one that most affects machining behaviour at the customer's plant.
Décor matching between production runs must be agreed, or a repeat order can arrive visibly different.
Moisture-resistant grades are not interchangeable with standard grades regardless of price similarity.
