Water infrastructure

Water infrastructure procurement, from BOQ to delivered consignment

REPONS sources and coordinates supply for water transmission, distribution, treatment and pumping projects: pipe in HDPE, GRP, ductile iron and steel, fittings and jointing systems, valves, pumps, metering, instrumentation and treatment consumables. Requirements arrive as a BOQ, tender schedule or specification set; REPONS structures them into sourcing lots, raises one consolidated clarification list, compares offers on the same technical and commercial basis, and coordinates consolidated delivery to site or port.

01REPONS capability

BOQ and tender schedule handling

Water BOQs run long and mix pipe, fittings, valves, civil accessories and instrumentation. The schedule is structured into sourcing lots rather than split between unrelated traders.

Material and standard control

Pressure class, stiffness class, jointing method, coating and potable-water suitability are confirmed per line before suppliers are approached, so offers are genuinely comparable.

Fittings and jointing completeness

Projects lose weeks when pipe arrives without the gaskets, couplings, fusion fittings or jointing equipment. Accessories are procured as part of the same lot and the same schedule.

Volume-aware shipment planning

Pipe is a volume cargo. Loading is planned in cubic metres as well as tonnes, and deliveries are sequenced to the laying programme rather than to the order date.

02What is covered
  • HDPE pipe and fittings, electrofusion and butt-fusion systems
  • GRP pipe and couplings for transmission and gravity applications
  • Ductile iron pipe, fittings and flanged assemblies
  • Steel pipe, coated and lined, with welded or flanged connections
  • Gate, butterfly, check, air-release and pressure-reducing valves
  • Centrifugal, submersible, borehole and dosing pumps
  • Water meters, pressure and flow instrumentation, control panels
  • Treatment media, dosing systems and chlorination equipment
  • Valve chambers, hydrants, service connections and network accessories
03Who we supply
  • Water utilities and public network operators

04Procurement process
  1. 01

    BOQ intake

The schedule is received in its original format and kept unchanged.

  2. 02

    Lotting

Lines are grouped into pipe, fittings, valves, pumps and instrumentation lots.

  3. 03

    Clarification

Missing classes, standards and jointing details are raised as one list.

  4. 04

    Sourcing

Qualified manufacturers are approached per lot across suitable origins.

  5. 05

    Comparison

Technical compliance and normalised commercial terms are compared together.

  6. 06

    Documentation

Test, material and potable-suitability documents are agreed before production.

  7. 07

    Consolidation

Lots from several factories are combined into planned shipments.

  8. 08

    Delivery

Shipments are sequenced to the laying and commissioning programme.

05Sourcing options
  • Türkiye — pipe, fittings, valves, pumps and panel manufacturing with short sea transit to West and North Africa
  • Europe — instrumentation, specialised valves and certified process equipment
  • Asia — volume pipe, fittings and pumping equipment
  • Middle East — regional stock and logistics access for urgent lines
06Standards and compliance
  • Potable-water suitability documentation is requested for the exact material supplied, not for the manufacturer in general.
  • The design standard referenced by the project governs; supplier-preferred equivalents are proposed openly or not at all.
  • Hydrostatic and batch test records are agreed as a deliverable before production starts.
